It considers economic incentives and organizations; models of economic behavior; the operation of markets; the price system and how it works; the consequences of market failure and interventions in markets; and policy objectives and instruments.
ClaireS rated it it was amazing Dec 12, This book integrates theory with facts and covers the research. The absence of a bibliography impedes the book’s use as a reference, which is not improved by the embarrassing quality of many citations I found up to at least a dozen citation mistakes in a single chapter, something which should have been corrected a long time ago.
The book also does not treat labor markets in developing countries separately, though one may question to what extent economics research based on industrialized countries’ experiences generalizes at the global level. Immigration Economics Fall No trivia or quizzes yet.
